DOMINANT FEATURES explores what happens when digital images -captured by the artist, found, or generated- are translated into physical works through deliberate hand-cut splicing techniques. By applying a slow, intentional process to imagery that is usually created rapidly, the work blurs the boundary between digital production and human touch.

Faces serve as a recurring anchor within the work, acting as both subject and mirror, inviting viewers to see themselves within the work while reflecting on the merging of physical and digital identity. Where does on face begin and another end? What is real, and what is constructed? Were these images even made by a human?

The work leaves space for interpretation, opening the door to multiple perspectives and possibilities.
